Cooper Joins BMC Cardiology Team
PITTSFIELD – Further enhancing its cardiology services, Berkshire Medical Center announces the appointment of Kyle Ann Cooper, M.D., accepting new patients for general cardiology services. Cooper is fellowship trained in cardiology and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease.
Cooper joins a team of cardiology providers serving the Berkshires and surrounding communities. She is partnering with Jeffrey Leppo, M.D., David Finck, M.D., William Levy, M.D., Roberta Erena, M.D, Lisa Massie, M.D., Mark Peterman, M.D., Philip Bhark, M.D., Martin Broder, M.D. and Physician Assistants John Henry, Rebecca Takis-Smith and Robert Tebben in providing a broad range of cardiology services, with a practice located in the BMC Medical Arts Complex, 777 North Street in Pittsfield and at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington.
Cooper was most recently a cardiologist practicing with the New Mexico Heart Institute’s Santa Fe Cardiology Division. She served as chairman for the Department of Medicine at St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe from 2002 to 2004. She also served on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee and as chair of the Critical Care Committee.
She received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque. She completed her internship and residency training at the University of Vermont, where she was fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease with an emphasis on noninvasive cardiology.
