Daren Gray Joins Baystate Franklin Medical Center
GREENFIELD — Daren Gray has joined Baystate Franklin Medical Center (BFMC) as director of Support Services. He will provide leadership and oversight of key support services for Baystate Franklin, including Food and Nutrition Services, Materials, Reprography, Environmental Services, Engineering, Security, Safety, Emergency Management, and Transport Services.
A graduate of UMass with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Gray is a certified professional engineer in the state of Massachusetts. He joined Baystate Health in February 2013 as a project manager in Facilities, Planning, and Engineering. In his role, he was involved in major capital projects for Baystate Health, including reconstruction of the main entrance and patient parking areas at Baystate Medical Center, safety enhancements throughout the hospital, master-planning campus improvements throughout the network, several permitting approvals to support major Baystate Health facilities initiatives, and Baystate Franklin’s Surgery Modernization Project.
Prior to joining Baystate Health, Gray held positions in engineering, safety, and project management with Vermont Yankee in Vernon, Vt.; Hatch Mott MacDonald Inc. in Holyoke; and Doucet & Associates Inc. in Northampton.
