Dawn Lantiere Joins CMIC Group Loss Prevention Department

GLASTONBURY, Conn. — CMIC Group, a member-owned medical professional liability insurance company, announced that Dawn Lantiere has joined the Loss Prevention department as a senior Loss Prevention specialist.

Lantiere, a registered nurse in Connecticut, has more than 18 years of experience in the nursing field. She most recently served as assistant director of Nursing at Masonicare in Wallingford, Conn., where she oversaw the Acute Hospital and Geriatric Psychiatric units. Prior to that, she was regional director of Nursing at Apple Rehab in Plainville, Conn., where she managed several post-operative rehabilitation facilities. She has experience in both state and regulatory surveys and certifications, including development of readiness programs. In addition to her clinical supervision, she was involved in quality assurance and process improvement, along with high-reliability training.
