EANE Partners with MHA on Good to Go Drive
SPRINGFIELD — The Employers Assoc. of the NorthEast (EANE) is teaming up with the Mental Health Assoc. Inc. (MHA) to support the Good to Go program, which provides basic personal-care items to hundreds of people served by MHA.
Through Dec. 18, employees of EANE are collecting personal care items that MHA will then provide to people in urgent need of everyday items, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap and body wash, shampoo and conditioner, razors and shaving cream, sheets and towels, moisturizer, deodorant, feminine-hygiene products, and socks.
EANE and MHA have been partnering all year to promote greater understanding of the impacts COVID-19 is having on people served by each organization.
“This year, more than ever, we recognize the importance of giving back to our community,” said Allison Ebner, director of Member Relations & Partnerships for EANE. “As people, we have to focus on what we do have as opposed to what we don’t have right now. We still have the ability to get together as a team and make a difference in the lives of people that need support. The employees at EANE are proud and delighted to be a small part of supporting the fantastic work of MHA through the collection of items for the Good to Go program.”
According to Kimberley Lee, MHA’s vice president of Resource Development and Branding, “with so many companies still working remotely, the opportunity to host employee drives in support of Good to Go is difficult. When EANE reached out with news of their decision to host a drive for MHA, we were ecstatic. We are so incredibly grateful to EANE for their kindness and compassion in support of those we serve.”
