Easthampton Fire Department Partners with Baystate Health for Critical Blood Drive
EASTHAMPTON — The Easthampton Fire Department announced a partnership with the Baystate Health Blood Donor Program to host a blood drive on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Easthampton Fire Station, located at 32 Payson Ave., Easthampton.
This event comes at a crucial time, as Massachusetts is currently experiencing a significant blood shortage. Blood donations are urgently needed to save lives across the state, and every contribution counts. A single donation has the potential to save multiple lives, making it an invaluable gift to those in need.
Community members are encouraged to participate in this life-saving event. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (413) 794-4600, but walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the event.
“We are proud to partner with Baystate Health for this important cause,” Easthampton Fire Chief Christopher Norris said. “The blood shortage is a serious issue, and we are calling on our community to join us in making a difference. Your donation could be the difference between life and death for someone in need.”
