Gándara Center’s Fourth Annual Community Care Package Drive Continues Through Friday
SPRINGFIELD — Gándara Center’s fourth annual Community Care Package Drive will run through Friday, Nov. 18. The collects basic necessities, such as personal items including toiletries, personal care and hygiene products, socks, and undergarments for those in need. The two drop-off sites are at 933 East Columbus St. in Springfield and 80 Commercial St. in Holyoke.
The donations received will be distributed to some of the more than 15,000 children, adults, and families Gándara serves across the state, including children in foster care, homeless youth and young adults, individuals in recovery, and families that are struggling.
New items needed include shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, deodorant, brushes and combs, face wash, lotion, body wash, bar soap, lip balm, washcloths, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, feminine products, socks (children, youth, men’s, and women’s), and undergarments.
