Golden Moments Day Spa Celebrates Five Years in Business

FLORENCE — In April 2012, Golden Moments Adult Day Health Spa opened its doors to the community. This week, it celebrates five years of providing an alternative to the expense of in-home care, ultimately postponing the need for seniors to move to either an assisted-living or nursing facility.

During the day, seniors who are not safe at home can come to Golden Moments to enjoy activities such as yoga, massage, salon services, pet therapy, art therapy, games, singing programs, and more. These programs are geared toward each senior’s interests to make the most of their day. They are forming friendships, socializing, and aging gracefully among those who share common interests, instead of being isolated at home.

Owner Sheryl Fappiano said Golden Moments prides itself on creating a home-like atmosphere that, in turn, allows caregivers to go to work worry-free, attend to their responsibilities, or enjoy a bit of ‘me’ time.
