Goodwin Joins Dental Practice

LONGMEADOW — Dr. Frederic S. Mackler and Associates announced that Dr. Steven M. Goodwin has joined the dental practice, located at 46 Daggett.

Dr. Goodwin received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in 1996. He then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine for his dental training and graduated with a D.M.D. degree.

After graduating from dental school, Goodwin was accepted into the UConn Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. In this one-year residency program, he treated patients of all ages, worked in a Veterans Affairs hospital and a community health clinic in New Haven, and treated emergency and special needs patients at the UConn Health Center in Farmington. While enrolled in the program, he began working for Dr. Mackler and Associates on Saturdays.
