HCC Hosting COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Today
HOLYOKE — Holyoke Health is holding a vaccine clinic at the Holyoke Community College (HCC) Center for Health Education & Simulation today, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The HCC facility is located at 404 Jarvis Ave.
HCC students, faculty, and staff, as well as area residents, are welcome to get their first or second doses of the Moderna vaccine, or their one and only dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the clinic. The vaccinations are free, and no appointment is needed.
Free “Stop the Spread” COVID-19 testing at HCC is also available six days a week through September. The drive-through testing at HCC is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., in Parking Lot M by the Bartley Center for Athletics & Recreation on the opposite side of campus.
Testing is free to all Massachusetts residents and conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no appointments, and no referral is necessary. Turnaround time for results is typically four days or fewer.
