Holyoke Chicopee Springfield Head Start’s Churchill Center Hosts Family Health Fair

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Chicopee Springfield (HCS) Head Start’s Churchill Center recently welcomed enrolled families to a health fair, offering resources and information to support the well-being of children and families. The event was held at 41 Commercial St. in Holyoke and featured a variety of local health providers and community partners.

Participants included representatives from Holyoke Health Center, WIC, J&S Smile Pros, and the HCS Head Start mental health team. Families also had the opportunity to engage with fire safety resources in recognition of National Fire Prevention Week, observed Oct. 5-11.

“The Health Fair was a wonderful way to connect families with important services and provide resources that support their health and safety,” said Sarah Goodwin, Churchill site director. “We are grateful to our community partners who joined us to make this event possible and to our families for their enthusiastic participation.”

HCS Head Start has been providing high-quality early childhood education services for children and families in cities and towns in Western Mass. since 1965.
