Holyoke Medical Center Receives Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Medical Center announced it has been named a 2025 Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey, a global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services. This award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country based on clinical quality performance.

“Holyoke Medical Center is raising the bar for what great clinical quality looks like,” said Patrick Ryan, chairman and CEO of Press Ganey. “They’re turning ambition into action, building a culture where every interaction reflects purpose, respect, and care. That kind of leadership makes a lasting difference.”

The Press Ganey Human Experience awards program recognizes healthcare organizations that consistently elevate human experience through proven performance in patient and consumer experience, employee and physician engagement, clinical quality, and safety. Award winners were judged against a set of rigorous, data-driven criteria. Criteria are reviewed, updated, and published each year and reflect updated standards across the care continuum.

“Holyoke Medical Center is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care,” said Spiros Hatiras, president and CEO of Holyoke Medical Center and Valley Health Systems. “Our doctors, nurses, and staff members use evidence-based practices to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We received this recognition because of their hard work and dedication, and we are proud of their efforts.”
