James Joins Cancer Program At FMC

GREENFIELD – Helen C. James, MS, APRN, BC, OCN, of Chicopee, a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner, has joined the clinical staff of the Baystate Regional Cancer Program at Franklin Medical Center.

She will be partnering with John McCann, MD, and Deborah Katz, MD, oncologists to provide patient care. James will be working with the physicians providing follow-up care with a specialized focus on patient education and management of pain and treatment-related side effects.

James comes to Franklin Medical Center from the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care at Baystate Medical Center, where she has been a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner for the past six years.
