Joe Diver Joins Holyoke Medical Center as Chief Information Officer

HOLYOKE — Carl Cameron, chief operating officer of Holyoke Medical Center and Valley Health Systems, announced the appointment of Joe Diver as chief information officer at Holyoke Medical Center.

“We are excited to welcome Joe to our team,” Cameron said. “He is a highly accomplished digital-health strategist with 30 years of experience in leading information-management systems in hospital settings.”

Diver’s prior experience included executive-level information-systems positions with Baystate Health, Glytec, PatientKeeper, Bassett Healthcare, Berkshire Health Systems, and Cape Cod Healthcare. He received his bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University.

“I am looking forward to delivering advanced innovative solutions and digital-health systems to further improve the patient-care experience at Holyoke Medical Center,” Diver said. “I am passionate about aligning business and technical strategy, not only for the benefit of the patients and caregivers trusting us with their care, but also to streamline and ease the excellent work being delivered by our great team members every day.”

Diver is active in giving back to his community. He currently chairs the Dalton Select Board and is a board member of the 7 Town Advisory for Central Berkshire Regional School District.
