STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn — Johnson Memorial Hospital announced that its Advanced Wound Center has been awarded the prestigious Center of Distinction award by Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. “I’m very proud of the work we are doing in the Advanced Wound Center,” said Lindsey Gamble, chief Nursing officer and vice president of Operations at Johnson Memorial Hospital. “We are focused on utilizing the latest treatments and therapies, as well as proven techniques and procedures to ensure our patients are receiving the best care possible.”
Advanced wound care modalities provided by the center’s wound care experts include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies.
