Keystone Commons Honors Veterans at Luncheon
LUDLOW — On Veterans Day weekend, Keystone Commons hosted state Rep. Thomas Petrolati as part of efforts to honor veterans.
On Friday, Nov. 10, Keystone Commons held a luncheon for its veterans. Petrolati stopped in to thank all the residents and express his appreciation for their service. Following the lunch, Keystone Commons and Beacon Hospice presented a veterans-appreciation ceremony. Members of the Ludlow High School Choir serenaded veterans, followed by a presentation of certificates and pins.
Veteran Larry Green, sergeant USAF, presented the veterans with a certificate paying special tribute to their military service to America and for advancing the universal hope of freedom and liberty for all. Stephanie Shaw, director of Veteran Services and U.S. Army veteran, presented them with their pins.
Keystone Commons also has a Veterans Wall in its lobby, where residents, past and current, are honored with a plaque with their name and branch in which they served.
