Linda Manor Extended Care Offers Talk on Parkinson’s Disease June 7
LEEDS — Linda Manor Extended Care Facility will host a presentation on Parkinson’s disease on Tuesday, June 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at 349 Haydenville Road in Leeds. RSVP by calling Bonnie Young at (413) 582-9562.
Sharon Ashton, business development coordinator at Home Health Solutions in Holyoke, will present “Do You Tremble at the Thought: Understanding Parkinson’s Disease” and will discuss health risks and medical terminology connected to Parkinson’s. Ashton is a nurse and has worked in assisted-living and long-term-care settings, and has spoken on healthcare topics for more than 25 years.
