Linda Manor Lauded for Worker, User Satisfaction

LEEDS — Of the select few long-term care organizations in Massachusetts recognized this past year by My InnerView for exceptional customer and employee satisfaction, nearly 50{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} of the winners are Berkshire Healthcare communities.

And Linda Manor Extended Care Facility is one of those winners, earning an Excellence in Action award for both customer and employee satisfaction.

This past year, 610 long-term-care organizations nationwide were chosen from about 6,500 My InnerView clients. Only 19 recipients were in Massachusetts, including eight Berkshire Healthcare communities.

My InnerView conducts the annual Excellence in Action awards, which are presented to skilled-nursing homes that achieve outstanding resident and/or employee satisfaction. The awards recognize the organizations’ commitment to continuous quality improvement and efforts to prioritize the needs of residents, families, and nursing-staff employees.

“We are proud that Berkshire Healthcare has been recognized for having some of our nation’s best senior care communities,” said William Jones, president of Berkshire Healthcare Systems. “We are committed to providing exceptional customer experiences and clinical quality, and these awards show that our efforts are succeeding.”

Berkshire Healthcare is a leader among not-for-profit, post-acute-care organizations in Massachusetts, and owns or operates 16 rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities (14 in Massachusetts, one in Ohio, and one in Pennsylvania); Kimball Farms, a life-care, continuing-care retirement community in Lenox; and HospiceCare in the Berkshires for those with life-limiting illnesses.
