SPRINGFIELD — Sharon Adams-Babineau, R.N., B.S., M.A., has been named the new vice president, Patient Care Services at Mercy Medical Center and the chief nursing officer of the Sisters of Providence Health System.
Prior to coming to Mercy this summer, Adams-Babineau served as chief nurse executive of the Eastern Conn. Health Network in Manchester, Conn. She served as a clinical nurse supervisor at the then-named Mercy Hospital in 1990-1991. From 1987 to 1990, she held nursing posts in medical-surgical, pediatric and telemetry at Mercy.
Her professional career has also included serving as vice president, patient care services/chief nurse executive of Rockville General Hospital/Manchester Memorial Hospital and administrator of Rockville General Hospital from 2001 to 2004. |
