MiraVista Behavioral Health Center to Host Nursing Recruitment, Recognition Event

WESTFIELD — MiraVista Behavioral Health Center will host a Mira & Bright nursing recruitment and recognition event on Monday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pilgrim Candle at 36 Union Avenue, Westfield, in partnership with both Pilgrim Candle and Flowers by Webster. The event invites local nurses to stop in for appreciation, conversation, and exploration of career opportunities — all while supporting Westfield small businesses.

The Mira & Bright event is the latest in a growing series of MiraVista community-based recruitment initiatives intentionally held at local businesses. Recent events at Rice’s Fruit Farm and the Gary Rome Hyundai car wash have drawn strong participation, boosted visibility for local partners, and created warm, meaningful spaces for nurses to engage with the MiraVista team.

“At every event, we see what happens when community partners come together,” said Coreen Lord, director of Talent Acquisition at MiraVista Behavioral Health Center. “Nurses feel genuinely recognized, local businesses receive increased foot traffic, and we have the chance to share what makes nursing at MiraVista so meaningful. It’s a win for nurses, a win for our partners, and a win for our patients, who benefit from dedicated, mission-driven caregivers.”

During the Dec. 15 event, nurses are invited to enjoy a festive and welcoming atmosphere at Pilgrim Candle, receive an exclusive 15% discount at Pilgrim Candle and Flowers by Webster, and take home a seasonal gift (while supplies last). MiraVista’s team will be on site to talk about open roles, growth opportunities, and the supportive, patient-centered culture that nurses experience at MiraVista.

While drop-ins are welcome, registration is preferred to ensure that enough seasonal gifts are available for all who attend. Click here to RSVP.

MiraVista’s community-based recruitment model continues to strengthen relationships with local businesses while inviting nurses into environments that feel personal, supportive, and connected.

“Each time we step into a local business, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are,” Lord added. “Nurses deserve environments that lift them up, and so do the small businesses that anchor our towns. Bringing the two together is something special — and something we are proud to continue.”
