MiraVista Behavioral Health Center Welcomes Dr. Dean Singer

HOLYOKE — MiraVista Behavioral Health Center announced that Dr. Dean Singer, a dual board-certified physician in family and addiction medicine, has joined its growing team of clinical professionals.

Singer brings extensive experience in both primary care and addiction medicine to MiraVista, with a long-standing commitment to improving access to treatment for individuals and families in recovery. As a community-based physician and advocate for integrated health, he has worked across multiple care settings in Western Mass., bridging the gap between primary care and behavioral health.

At MiraVista, Singer will serve as the physician in the organization’s Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), providing medication-assisted treatment and clinical support to individuals navigating recovery from opioid use disorder. His expertise and holistic approach to patient care strengthen MiraVista’s commitment to expanding access to effective, compassionate treatment.

MiraVista’s Opioid Treatment Program offers a supportive, structured environment for individuals seeking recovery from opioid dependence through a combination of medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and wraparound support services. The program provides same-day and walk-in access, as well as free transportation within a 25-mile radius, helping to reduce barriers to care for residents across Western Mass. MiraVista’s OTP team works closely with each patient to promote stability, restore health, and build hope for long-term recovery.

“Dr. Singer’s experience across the full spectrum of addiction and primary care makes him an incredible asset to our clinical team,” said Dr. Kenneth Richmond, medical director at MiraVista Behavioral Health Center. “He shares MiraVista’s belief that every individual deserves timely, compassionate, and holistic care that supports not just recovery, but wellness and belonging.”

Singer currently serves as owner and chief medical officer of Bridge Primary in Greenfield, a community-based practice offering both primary care and addiction services. His previous roles include addiction physician consultant for Clinical & Support Options’ Office-based Addiction Treatment Program, medical director at Health Care Resource Centers Methadone Clinic in Greenfield, and inpatient addiction consultant at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

He completed his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and is dual board-certified in family medicine and addiction medicine.

“I’m honored to join MiraVista and contribute to the life-changing work happening here every day,” Singer said. “MiraVista’s philosophy of meeting patients where they are — without judgment and with genuine compassion — aligns perfectly with my own approach to care. Together, we can continue to remove barriers, build trust, and help more individuals and families find their path to recovery.”
