New South Deerfield Medical Facility to Host Open House
SOUTH DEERFIELD — On Saturday, April 30, Sugarloaf Pediatrics and South Deerfield Family Medicine will host an open house at 29 Elm St., the newly constructed facility they now share in South Deerfield.
The providers and staff of the two practices, part of Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, invite the public to visit their modern and spacious new home between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event will feature a tour of the facility, provider meet and greet, safety demonstrations, nutrition education, wellness activities for kids, healthy snacks, free blood-pressure checks, a youth dance performance at 11 a.m., giveaways, and more.
Dr. Gina O’Brien, Dr. Jennifer Schott, and their Sugarloaf staff moved from 2 Park St. in late March. Dr. Sean Dacus, nurse practitioner Joanne Michonski, and the staff of South Deerfield Family Medicine, together with the Cooley Dickinson Laboratory Patient Service Center, relocated from 21B Elm St. several weeks later. Cooley Dickinson South Deerfield Rehab Services, which offers physical and occupational therapy, will remain in its current location at 21 Elm St.
“Cooley Dickinson is committed to our community,” said Sue McCrea, practice manager for both Sugarloaf Pediatrics and South Deerfield Family Medicine. “We look forward to providing patients and their families with convenient access to many healthcare services in a single, centralized area.”
