Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice to Present Annual Wine and Beer Tasting
WESTFIELD — Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice will hold its 11th annual Wine and Beer Tasting on Friday, May 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Tekoa Country Club, located at 459 Russell Road, Westfield. The event will include fine food, fine conversation, and fine wine — all for a worthy cause.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. All attendees will be entered into a free drawing for two round-trip tickets to Napa Valley, Calif. Courtesy of 94.7 WMAS, the three-day, two-night package includes hotel accommodations and a $300 shopping spree.
Proceeds from the Wine and Beer Tasting benefit Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice’s programs and enable the staff to continue to provide exceptional care to communities across the Pioneer Valley. The fund-raiser typically helps the agency bridge gaps between declining government reimbursements and the actual cost of programming.
“As a not-for-profit community agency, we count on this fund-raiser to support our programs,” said David Mol, president and CEO, Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice. “Everything we raise goes back into supporting our community.”
Each year, Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice provides comprehensive home-health and hospice care to more than 1,400 local residents and their families.
“Last year, we raised net proceeds of over $26,000,” said Mol. “We are grateful to the community for their support, and are looking forward to another great turnout.”
This year’s event is sponsored by Westfield Bank. To purchase tickets, call the Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice office at (413) 562-7049 or visit noblehome.org.
