Pamela Zouranjian Connor Named Director of Cancer Center at Harrington
SOUTHBRIDGE — Pamela Zouranjian Connor has been named Director of the Cancer Center at Harrington HealthCare System. Harrington, based in Southbridge, provides comprehensive healthcare to the residents and communities of South Central Mass. and Northeastern Conn.
The two-story, free-standing cancer center, which opened in June 2009, offers infusion and chemotherapy, hematology, and care-management services. The center is jointly operated by the not-for-profit Harrington Hospital and the for-profit corporation 21st Century Oncology, which provides radiation oncology on the first floor of the building.
Zouranjian Connor will also continue her current role as executive director of Satellite Operations, overseeing multiple operations within Harrington, including its anchor site in Webster, the medical building at 10 North Main St., Charlton. Prior to Harrington, she worked at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham for 18 years, with her last position being director of Outpatient Cancer Services. Most recently, she served as regional manager of Operations for Alliance HealthCare Systems, overseeing three radiation-oncology facilities.
She received her associate degree in radiation therapy from Gwynedd-Mercy College in Pennsylvania and attended Northeastern University in Boston, working toward a degree in health management. She is a member of the Society for Radiation Oncology Administrators and has been published in oncology journals.
