Perry Named Nurse Manager

HOLYOKE — Melissa Perry of Northampton has been named nurse manager of the Center for Behavioral Health’s Inpatient Unit at Holyoke Hospital.
A hospital employee since 1993, Perry is a graduate of Holyoke Community College, where she received her associate’s degree in Nursing. She received her bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from Westfield State College. She also holds a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice degree from Westfield State.

She is certified in psychiatric and mental health nursing.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Perry worked for the Center for Human Development, in the residential and outreach program serving chronically mentally ill adults in Holyoke. She has also been a trainer for the Department of Mental Health, educating and training staff on the administration of medications.
