Petco Foundation Invests in Lifesaving Work of Second Chance Animal Services
EAST BROOKFIELD — The Petco Foundation has awarded a $14,000 grant to Second Chance Animal Services to assist with medical costs.
The Petco Foundation investment will allow Second Chance to purchase medical equipment and necessary supplies such as vaccines, medications, prescription diet food, and kennel disinfectant. The grant will also allow Second Chance to carry out several mobile adoption events.
In honor of the investment, a check celebration will take place on Friday, August 2 at 10 a.m. at Petco on 50 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury.
“We are grateful for the Petco Foundation’s support,” said Second Chance Development Director Lindsay Doray. “This grant will help us care for even more pets in our care and help prepare them for adoption.”
