Petroff Named JNH Administrator
LONGMEADOW — Jewish Geriatric Services Inc. (JGS) announced that Robert J. Petroff has been named executive vice president/administrator of the Julian J. Leavitt Family Jewish Nursing Home (JNH).
Petroff brings more than 20 years of diverse experience in the health care industry to this position, and will responsible for the day-to-day management of the 200-bed, long-term and short-term care facility, located in Longmeadow, MA. The vice president/administrator position was previously held by Rosemary Carbonelli, who recently retired.
Before joining JNH, Mr. Petroff served as the administrator at Willimansett West Center in Chicopee. Prior to that, he was executive director of The Hermitage/Beverly Healthcare, a long-term care facility based in Worcester, and was also administrator at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Northampton, MA.
In addition, Petroff has served as director of Development and Operations for Physicians Quality Care Inc., a Springfield-based physicians group; director of Western Regional Operations for Physicians Partners of New England Inc., a subsidiary of Blue Cross/Blue Shield; and vice president of Administration at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Petroff holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
