Plotkin Tapped as Chair of CHD Board
SPRINGFIELD — The Center for Human Development (CHD) recently announced changes to its board of directors, most significantly naming Evan Plotkin, president of NAI Plotkin, — a local commercial real-estate and brokerage office with clients in more than 125 U.S. markets and five continents — the new chair of the board.
Plotkin has already been instrumental in helping to coordinate renovation work on a current CHD property and advising on securing a potential new property. He brings to CHD his extensive knowledge of the Greater Springfield real-estate market as well as property and facilities management.
Plotkin invests significantly in the community as a patron of the arts through the contribution of large sculpture projects to the city of Springfield, an art gallery in his building at 1 Financial Plaza which offers studio space to artists; serving on the Zoo at Forest Park board; and actively working with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and the Realtors Assoc. of the Pioneer Valley.
