Poet’s Seat Health Care Center Marks 10 Years Under Current Ownership

GREENFIELD — Poet’s Seat Health Care Center recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of ownership by Michele and Pat Carney of Somerset Health Care Management Group, marking the occasion with an open house and the grand opening of the Pulmonary Center at Poet’s Seat.

Poet’s Seat provides a number of services, including specialized long- and short-term skilled-nursing care to encourage each resident’s maximum level of functioning, respite care, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, psychiatric services, social services, dietitian services, the Pulmonary Center, and more. The 62-bed facility was opened in 1966 and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
