Porchlight VNA/Home Care to Debut Newest Fund-raiser Nov. 10

LEE — Porchlight VNA/Home Care will debut its newest fund-raiser, “Lighting Up Lives!” in celebration of National Home Care Month and a continued five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Thanks to generous underwriters, the event will raise funds for Porchlight’s community programs, including visiting nurses and public-health clinics and education.

The event will be hosted by one of the newest venues in the Berkshires, Hotel On North at 297 North St., Pittsfield, on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy live music by the Lighten Up Trio while selecting items from the mashed-potato bar or Chef Ron Reda’s passed appetizers. While mingling and networking, they can bid on more than 30 silent auction items, including Putnam Club-level Patriots tickets, restaurants, and works by local artists. A ‘heads-or-tails’ 50/50 raffle will also put a different spin on the old standby.

The presenting platinum underwriter for the event is Medline. Silver underwriters are Berkshire Bank, Community Health Programs, and Lee Bank. Bronze underwriters are Henry’s Electric, the aw Offices of Nicholas Parsenios, NEPM, and the Toole Cos.
