Realtors Assoc. of Pioneer Valley Supports Shriners Hospitals for Children

SPRINGFIELD — The community service committee of the Realtor Assoc. of Pioneer Valley spearheaded a blanket and book drive this month to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children – Springfield. Committee members gathered more than 100 yards of fleece to make 50 blankets for inpatients of the hospital.

When a child comes in for surgery, they are given a touch of home with a homemade blanket and book to make their stay at the hospital a little more comfortable.
The Realtors Assoc. supports the communities they work in. In addition to helping Shriners, it supports local food banks with monthly donations and holds an annual golf tournament and other fund-raisers in support of various causes.
