River Valley Counseling Center Raises Funds and Mental-health Awareness
HOLYOKE — The fourth annual River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) Golf Tournament, held on Sept. 13 at East Mountain Country Club in Westfield, raised $23,500 to support the services RVCC provides to children and adults living in the Pioneer Valley. “We would like to thank all of the sponsors and players who helped to make our annual fundraiser a success,” said Rosemarie Ansel, RVCC’s executive director, adding that RVCC provides mental-health services to more than 7,000 individuals in Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties. “The proceeds of this event will help us to continue providing caring, compassionate, and life-saving services to those in need.”
The event was made possible through the sponsorships of local businesses, including Action Ambulance Service Inc. as the presenting sponsor.
