‘Runway for Diapers’ Fashion Show on Nov. 23 to Benefit VOC/WIC Diaper Bank

CHICOPEE — Valley Opportunity Council (VOC) will host “Runway for Diapers,” a fashion show featuring children from the community that will benefit the VOC/WIC Diaper Bank, on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Castle of Knights, 1599 Memorial Dr., Chicopee. The event is also co-sponsored by WIC and Tufts Health Plan.

The admission for attendees is one pack of any size diapers per person (for attendees ages 16 and older), which will all be donated to the VOC/WIC Diaper Bank in Holyoke. All ages are welcome to attend.

The runway show will feature children, representing a variety of different backgrounds, from Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, West Springfield, and more. Community agencies will also have tables set up at the event.

The VOC/WIC Diaper Bank has been serving families in Holyoke, Chicopee and surrounding communities since 2020. The diaper bank is open the last Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon for those who are referred from the Holyoke/Chicopee WIC office.
