Ruth’s House Virtual Lunch and Learn Series to Discuss Ayurvedic Medicine on April 21
LONGMEADOW — On Wednesday, April 21, the monthly virtual Lunch and Learn series at Ruth’s House Assisted Living Residence will welcome holistic health practitioner Leah Doroch, who will discuss the benefits of Ayurvedic medicine, a medical system from India that has been used for thousands of years.
The goal of Ayurvedic medicine is to cleanse the body, mind, and spirit. It uses diet, herbal medicines, exercise, meditation, breathing, physical therapy, and other methods. It is a type of complementary and alternative medicine therapy.
