Second Chance to Present 26th Annual Auction Gala on March 29

EAST BROOKFIELD — The 26th annual Auction Gala, Second Chance Animal Services’ biggest and most important fundraiser of the year, is just weeks away. Set for Saturday, March 29 at the AC Marriott in Worcester, this event supports more than 56,000 pets annually by providing veterinary care, shelter services, community outreach, and a pet-food pantry program.

Tickets are on sale for $75 per person, with reserved tables for 10 guests available for $650. Seating is limited, and the last day to purchase tickets is Sunday, March 23.

The Auction Gala will feature a variety of items available for bid, including exclusive experiences, raffles, and more. For those unable to attend, an online auction begins on Friday, March 21 and runs through Thursday, March 27. Online bidding will feature a selection of gift certificates, local attraction tickets, and one-of-a-kind items, including a custom porch swing and a behind-the-scenes zoo tour.

“The Auction Gala is our most important fundraiser of the year, and the funds raised at this event help us continue our work of providing life-saving care to thousands of pets,” said Lindsay Doray, chief Development officer at Second Chance. “We look forward to celebrating with animal lovers and welcoming those who may not be able to attend the event in person to participate in the online auction. Every bid helps us provide care for more pets in need.”

Whether attending in person or bidding online, every contribution directly supports Second Chance’s mission to help pets in need. Visit www.secondchanceanimals.org/dinner-auction to purchase tickets, browse the auction catalog, and learn more about how to make a difference.
