Substance Abuse Services Available
HOLYOKE — The Mount Tom Mental Health Center has announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Mass. Department of Public Health to provide outpatient substance abuse services for individuals living in Holyoke and Chicopee who have no health insurance.
Mount Tom Mental Health Center and Mount Tom City Clinic have been actively involved in the Holyoke community through representation in different forums that have been working on understanding and decreasing barriers to access to substance-abuse services for residents, including the Substance Abuse Working Group and the Holyoke Health Commission.
The services available to Holyoke and Chicopee residents include evaluation and assessment, individual substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults, and group therapy.
