Trinity Health Of New England’s Mandell MS Centers Recognized by National MS Society

HARTFORD, Conn. — Trinity Health Of New England’s Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Centers for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research, a leading provider of care for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in Connecticut and Western Mass., was officially recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Partners in MS Care program. This formal recognition honors the Mandell MS Center’s commitment to high-quality MS care.

“We are so proud to once again be recognized as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care,” said Dr. Mary Bailey, regional medical director of Rehabilitation and Multiple Sclerosis for Trinity Health Of New England. “The ideal setting for MS care is at a center, like the Mandell MS Center, with dedicated specialists who have access to the most up-to-date treatments and ways to manage symptoms. We care for our patients at every stage, from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation and symptom management. Our providers work to develop individualized solutions for patients living with MS.”

The Center for Comprehensive MS Care distinction is appointed by a local and national committee, and organizations recognized must demonstrate a coordinated, multi-disciplinary care model for MS. Clinicians at the Mandell MS Centers continually demonstrate a wealth of knowledge, experience, and the attention to detail necessary in treating people with MS.

Trinity Health Of New England’s Mandell MS Centers are located at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in Hartford, Conn. and Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Conn., as well as at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.
