Two Baystate Physicians Offer Ob/Gyn Services At Wing

PALMER — Charles E. Cavagnaro III, MD, President & CEO of Wing Memorial Hospital & Medical Centers (WMH), recently announced an agreement with Baystate Medical Center in which two Baystate physicians – Carrie L. Bell, MD, and Debra Junnila, MD – will be offering obstetrics and gynecology services at Wing Medical Centers in Ludlow and Palmer.

“We are gratified that Drs. Bell and Junnila will be providing this much needed service to our patients and we welcome Baystate’s support and collaboration,” said Cavagnaro. “Due to this association, we can now offer more options.

Our patients can now choose Dr. Bell or Dr. Junnila for their prenatal care and deliver at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.”

Bell will be holding office hours at the Wing Medical Center in Ludlow every Monday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Junnila will be holding office hours at the Wing Medical Center in Palmer every Tuesday morning and every Thursday afternoon. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash. and completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
