Valley Health Systems Board of Directors Announces Personnel Changes
HOLYOKE — Valley Health Systems Inc. (VHS), which consists of Holyoke Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Group, Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care, and River Valley Counseling Center, announced that Eileen O’Leary Sullivan has been named chair of the board, and Don Graham is vice chair. Margaret Mantoni and Matthew Mainville are also welcomed as new members.

O’Leary Sullivan has been a member of the VHS board since 2016. She is a partner with Development Associates in Agawam with a past career as an attorney. Her areas of expertise include commercial and industrial real estate. She also chairs the Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care board of directors and is a trustee of the Elms College board. She is also a member and past president of the Holyoke Rotary Club and a former Holyoke Fire commissioner.
Graham has been a member of the VHS board since 2000. He is a former managing partner, now semi-retired, of Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane LLP, a law firm with offices in Boston, Braintree, and Springfield. His areas of expertise include corporate business law. Graham is also a director of Young Heroes Foundation, a nonprofit supporting AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland).
Mantoni is CEO of the Loomis Communities. Her areas of expertise include finance and senior-living administration. She is also on the board of directors for the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Leading Age Massachusetts.
Mainville is the executive director of Holyoke Housing Authority. His areas of expertise include public housing, housing affordability, home-ownership programs, and redevelopment initiatives. Mainville is also on the board of directors for the Holyoke Boys and Girls Club, MassNAHRO (Massachusetts Chapter of the National Assoc. of Housing and Redevelopment Officials), and MassNAHRO Insurance Group.
