GREENFIELD — On Tuesday, March 30, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and LifePath will co-host a virtual community forum titled “What You Need to Know About the COVID-19 Vaccine.”
Local public-health and healthcare professionals from Valley Medical Group, Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Community Health Center of Franklin County, and the Greenfield Health Department; as well as state Sen. Jo Comerford and community members who have been vaccinated, will serve on a panel to discuss how vaccines work, levels of protection for those vaccinated, what it feels like to be vaccinated, possible side effects, the state’s vaccination plan, and when community members can expect to be vaccinated.
Participants may connect through Zoom; by watching GCTV, AOTV, BNCTV, or Falls Cable; calling in by phone; or streaming through Facebook, YouTube, or Twitch. Questions for the panel may be submitted, and connecting links may be found, at lifepathma.org/events/virtual-community-forum.
