Volunteers Sought For ACS Program

WEST SPRINGFIELD — The American Cancer Society will hold a training on June 6 for Western Mass. beauty professionals interested in volunteering for their Look Good…Feel Better program, a free service that helps women address the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

The training will be held at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel and Conference Center, 1080 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Look Good…Feel Better is a unique program designed to help patients maintain their personal appearance while undergoing treatment for cancer.

Sponsored by the American Cancer Society; the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association; and the National Cosmetology Association, the program can be conducted as a group session or by individual consultation.
