Willie Ross School Adds Lauren Linton to Blake Audiology Clinic Staff
LONGMEADOW — Audiologist Lauren Linton has joined the staff of the Blake Audiology Clinic, which is on the campus of, and affiliated with, Willie Ross School for the Deaf.
Linton joins the clinic with 10 years of clinical experience and most recently worked for Baystate Rehabilitation Care & Audiology Services of Palmer. She also worked for eight years at Baystate Rehabilitation Care in Springfield, where she performed diagnostic audiological evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
In her position at the Blake Audiology Clinic, Linton will serve adult members of the community of all ages, in addition to students at the school, in providing diagnostic testing and services. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and earned her doctor of audiology degree from James Madison University.
“I really enjoy working in a small clinic setting, which allows me to be able to make meaningful connections with patients,” Linton said. “The Blake Audiology Clinic at Willie Ross School for the Deaf is a space that allows for each patient to be comfortable and receive great care. After I met with team members at Willie Ross School for the Deaf, I knew I wanted to work with them as they provide a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for not only students who attend the school, but also the community as a whole.”
The clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment and services to pediatric and adult patients, including diagnostic hearing evaluations; hearing aid consultation, fittings, and orientation; hearing aid adjustments, cleanings, and repairs; and management of cochlear implants. The clinic also stocks various hearing aid supplies that are available for purchase for any walk-in customer.
