Willie Ross School for the Deaf to Host Hearing Health Information Session on April 25
LONGMEADOW — Blake Audiology Clinic, located on the Willie Ross School for the Deaf campus, 104 Nevins Ave., Longmeadow, will host a free community hearing health information session and presentation on Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. A light breakfast will be served. The session is open to all ages.
At the event, Dr. Kathryn Siu, clinical audiologist at Blake Audiology Clinic, will share information about managing hearing healthcare, hearing aids, and options for those experiencing hearing loss. The free information session will also offer an opportunity for attendees to set up an appointment at the clinic on-site.
The Blake Audiology Clinic, a community and family audiology clinic, is open to the general public and serves all ages from 2 years and up. The clinic offers comprehensive hearing healthcare and management by licensed clinical audiologists in a comfortable, accessible setting on the Willie Ross School for the Deaf campus in Longmeadow. The clinic accepts most insurances and is open for public appointments.
Siu, who has been at the Blake Audiology Clinic since 2023, earned her doctor of audiology degree from Washington University. She also holds a bachelor of health science degree with a concentration in communication disorders from Stockton University and completed her fourth-year externship at the American School for the Deaf.
The clinic offers state-of-the-art equipment and services to pediatric and adult patients, including diagnostic hearing evaluations; hearing-aid consultations, fittings and orientation; hearing-aid adjustments, cleanings, and repairs; and management of cochlear implants. The clinic also stocks various hearing-aid supplies that are available for purchase for any walk-in customer.
