Wistariahurst Museum Presents Mindfulness at the Museum
HOLYOKE — Wistariahurst Museum will present Mindfulness at the Museum: a SonorousLight Sound Bath the fourth Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., starting on Feb. 28.
This immersive experience is meant to heal and melt away all stress and tension as a cocoon of sound surrounds guests, who will unwind and relax as the soothing vibrations of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments wash over them. These tranquil sessions are led by Donnabelle Casis, who uses her sound-therapy training with KIN Unified Health Institute to help others use sound to help promote physical health and emotional well-being.
“Every session is unique and intuitively guided,” Casis said. “This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to explore the healing power of sound in a beautiful and historic setting. So come, unwind, and let the harmonious frequencies of the SonorousLight Sound Bath envelop your senses.”
For the one-hour sound-bath meditation, attendees are asked to bring comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, blankets, a pillow, an eye mask (optional), and a water bottle. The session costs $35 per person, with a $5 discount for museum members with the code WISTY. Pre-registration is required, and tickets are non-refundable. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the session starts promptly at 6:30 pm. Space is limited, and tickets are already available for Feb. 28. Click here to register.
