Youth Event on May 18 to Focus on Gambling, Mental Health

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Youth Mental Health Coalition and the Beat the Odds youth group will host an event centered on youth gambling and mental health and present the short film “A Trouble with Change” on Saturday, May 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield.

The film highlights the effects of problem gambling in young lives. The event will also feature an interactive data walk, food, a DJ, games, and giveaways. This free event caters to youth in grades 6-12 and the community. Click here to register.
