RiverBend Adds Ob/Gyn To Practice

SPRINGFIELD — RiverBend Medical Group announced that David A. McKay, M.D. will be joining its ob/gyn practice.
McKay will be seeing patients in RiverBend’s Agawam office at 230 Main St. Mary Seifel, NP will also accompany McKay to RiverBend. She will begin seeing patients in Agawam on Sept. 9.

McKay will provide a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services at RiverBend, including adult and adolescent gynecology, prenatal care for high-risk and normal pregnancies, menopause management, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Seifel will provide adolescent gynecology, family planning, osteoporosis counseling and management, and menopause management.

RiverBend’s ob/gyn practice at Agawam, presently staffed by Sharon MacMillan, M.D. and Margaret Lucy, CNM, MSN, has been steadily growing.

The addition of McKay and Seifel will enable the group to increase access for those women seeking comprehensive ob/gyn services. A significant portion of the Agawam office has been redesigned and renovated to accommodate the expanded department.

McKay chose to relocate to RiverBend because of the nature of the group. “As a multi-specialty group, RiverBend offers my patients a wide variety of qualified, caring health care providers dedicated to meeting their health care needs. They are an excellent team. I have confidence that the group will provide high-quality care to my patients.”
