Advance Psychotherapy Practice Announces Virtual Grief and Loss Group
LONGMEADOW — Advance Psychotherapy Practice (APP) announced the upcoming launch of its Grief and Loss Group, a 12-week, virtual group for adults who have experienced loss and are seeking connection, support, and practical coping strategies.
The group will meet virtually on Wednesdays, starting Sept. 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. It will be facilitated by licensed independent clinical social workers Phet DiLullo and Katelyn Tower.
The Grief and Loss Group is designed to help participants connect with others, develop a sense of community, normalize their grief experiences, and learn strategies to support their healing. Participants will explore the grief process, identify and express feelings associated with loss, begin accepting the reality of their loss, and build a stronger support system.
“Grief can feel isolating, and this group offers participants a place to feel understood and supported while learning ways to navigate their healing,” DiLullo said.
The new group is part of APP’s continued expansion of mental health services throughout Western Mass., including its recently opened Longmeadow office at 171 Dwight Road, Suite 203. The Longmeadow location provides in-person and telehealth psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and is currently accepting new clients.
