Bay Path Lecture to Explore Integrative Health
LONGMEADOW — Dr. Kathryn Hayward will explore the new field of integrative health in her talk at Bay Path University’s Philip H. Ryan Health Science Center in East Longmeadow on Thursday, April 14, from 7 to 8 p.m. Hayward’s presentation on this timely topic, which brings together the best in conventional medicine, food, movement, and mind/body/spirit disciplines, will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
Hayward, a graduate of Bay Path, earned her doctor of medicine degree at Boston University School of Medicine, specializing in internal medicine. She lives in Mallorca, Spain and practices integrative health in the U.S. and Europe.
In 2012, she retired from her positions as asistant professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and associate physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a result of her experiences teaching integrative health to medical students and practitioners, she and her husband, David Thomas, devote themselves to expanding this educational approach by offering it to groups beyond those in the medical field in North America through their company, International Integrators.
This event is free and open to the public. To register, visit www.baypath.edu. The first 30 registrants will receive a free gift at the event.
