WARE — Facing a major illness or stressful life change can be a daunting prospect. Support groups bring together people facing similar issues and can help them cope better and feel less isolated by making connections with others facing similar challenges. Baystate Mary Lane Hospital announces the support groups for 2011.
Alcoholics Anonymous. Main Conference Room, second floor, Sundays, 7 to 8:15 p.m.
Caregivers Support Group. Human Resource Conference Room, third Wednesday of every month, 3:30 to 5 p.m. Contact Stasia Wozniak, medical social worker, at (413) 967-2225.
Childbirth Classes. Main Conference Room, as scheduled Tuesday evenings. Call Baystate Health Link at (413) 967-2488 or (800) 377-4325 to register for classes.
Circle of Angels, a Quilting Support Group for People Who Have Been Touched by Cancer. Weatherby II Conference Room, second and fourth Tuesday of every month, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contact Camille St. Onge, oncology social worker, at (413) 967-2245.
