The event is being held in collaboration with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center – Center for Cancer Equity and Engagement.
Topics for the webinar, which will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., will be causes and risk factors for cervical cancer, barriers to care and advocacy for health equity, clinical trials, and a survivor’s story.
Among the speakers for the webinar are Dr. Tashanna Myers, chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Baystate Medical Center. Other speakers include Cherece Burston, who will speak on barriers; Tonya Ward, who will speak from a survivor perspective; and patient navigator Nancy Pena.
The goal of the series is to promote critical dialogue on health and wellness and to support the community’s ability to thrive during these challenging times.
