BFMC Employees Honored for Service to Hospital
GREENFIELD — A total of 109 Baystate Franklin Medical Center employees were honored for a combined 1,565 years of service at the annual BFMC Employee Service Awards banquet held at the Log Cabin Banquet and Meeting House in Holyoke.
Chuck Gijanto, president of BFMC, delivered welcoming remarks and offered congratulations and thanks to the award recipients. Jay Brady, director of Human Resources for Community Hospitals and Services, introduced the recipients; Brady and Gijanto then presented service-year pins to each employee.
Four employees received 35-year awards: Lani Kachelmeyer, Roland Trombley, Diane Witkos, and Lynda Zukowski. Thirty-year awards went to seven employees: Pam Barber, Mary Jane Jarvis, Karen Knox, John MacDougall, Sandra Thomaier, Susan Bushey, and Larry Pelland. Karen Gould was recognized for 25 years of service.
Receiving 20-year awards were Maria Carey, Karin Newcomb, Monique Richardson, Leona Scherer, Jacqueline Choate, Lisa Alber, Sonja Brown, Lynne Culbertson, Dona Farishta, Donna Hunt, Nancy McIver, Catherine Morrell-Ambo, Mary Lisa Murphy, Frances Sessions, Darlene Steiner, Joseph Zukowski, Scott Holden, Fred Callahan, Robin Neipp, Judith Brick, Sheryl White, Patricia Brinster-Watson, Eric Clugston, Marjorie Paton, Jennifer Woods, Marla Killough, Linda Caouette, Melinda Drake, Wendy Swasey, Mary Ellen Ahearn, Elaine Goodhind, Wayne DeGrenier, Francis Lynch, Cheryl May, and Patricia Bliznak.
Serving for 15 years were Linda Carter, Jesse Bassett, Glennarose Dykes, Ronald Gaynor, Mary Irish, Marsha Staples-Love, Kim Mohlar, John Currie, Donna Girard, and Jean Shippee.
Ten-year pins went to Cynthia Caldwell, Jeffrey King, Lois Levin, Richard Girard, Judy Doel, Lisa Hudson, Cheryl McKenna, Dawn Oldford, Cherie Rowland, Aria Sampson, Jill Cote, Meridith Lein, Jennifer Romanchyk, Paula Powers, and Valerie George.
